RESEARCH POSTS-RESEARCH INTO CONVENTIONS

For the first research post for our research and planning tasks my team and I decided to look into conventions for our film opening. To do this we researched all the film openings and conventions and created a mind map with all the information that will help us when choosing the type of film opening that we will work with. Below is the mind map that my team and I created, even though it is very simple it is easy for us to understand and work with which is what we need.

We are not sure what we want to do for our film opening yet however we have chosen the conventions which we want to include, these being:

• studio name and logo

• starring actors

• music

• actor

• "based on"

These conventions will be for sure included in our film opening, however throughout the process of choosing our film opening and working on it we might also decide to include other conventions.
