How did your production skills develop throughout the project?

Firstly at the beginning of the project, there was definitely a lot of misunderstanding regarding some aspects about the project. This is when procrastinating had a very big impact on our team, especially on me. As there were some points which I did not understand , getting started was a struggle. For example working in a team was hard at the beginning as organisation and agreement were key in order for the process to flow smoothly. Aspects such as setting the film dates were a struggle as all the team members had to participate, therefore the first filming session definitely took some time to organise. The first day of filming was interesting. We managed to organise ourselves and agree on certain aspects which would increase the efficiency of us working. Meeting for the first filming session we were able to set certain objectives for the next filming sessions such as time management, location and time for meeting, equipment needed etc.

For the following filming sessions we were faced to adapt to certain locations and make certain changes which would intersect well with our project. For example one of the locations for filming was the Faget forest, a place where we haven't been to before except for one of our colleagues, when she visited the place for the location photos. Therefore on our way to the forest we had certain ideas for the filming , but as we arrived there we changed certain points from the script which blended in better with our film.

Being in charge of taking photos of the locations was definitely something I enjoyed doing. As we took turns filming I would also go to every new location which we decided was suitable for filming, and took photos of this as evidence. Filming however was something I was interested in but I never really gave it a try, but with the help of my patient colleagues they taught me how to properly use a camera and film, therefore I have discovered an attraction towards filming, and I am very excited to be able to take these new skills even further.

Overall I feel like I managed to adapt to the idea of not working exactly according to the script, solving problems and working in a team, however I feel like there are also aspects which I can still improve on such as developing my writing skills for the blog presentation part and managing my time in order to meet the deadlines.
